Grant and Loan Disbursement Dates (2023-2024)

Students who have submitted the FAFSA, CADAA, or other financial aid application and whose file is complete (outstanding documents have been submitted and reviewed, awards have been accepted, and the student has been approved by the financial aid office), will be eligible for disbursement as early as the beginning of the semester. In most cases, the student also must be in an eligible SAP status to receive a disbursement.

Most awards are split into two disbursements: the first at the beginning, and the second at the midpoint of the semester. Some awards will disburse later than others, such as Cal Grant awards, Chafee, SEOG, Scholarships, and Americorps, to name a few. Please refer to your specific awards or ask a financial aid representative if you have questions.
